The Art I Make

I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always drawing, and that continued through art classes in middle school and high school, into college, and later at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C.

Over the years, I’ve explored drawing, painting, figurative and life drawing, and abstract work. I’ve had the opportunity to exhibit my work, sell some of my pieces, and continue learning and experimenting along the way.

Although my career took me in other directions, art has always remained part of my life. I still find myself returning to a sketchbook, a canvas, or whatever inspires me to create. Sometimes the work is observational, sometimes abstract, and sometimes it simply begins with an idea, a feeling, or something I want to explore.

This space is a collection of some of those pieces—work created at different times in my life, through different mediums and styles. They are another way I tell stories, express myself, and stay connected to the creative part of who I am.
